If you choose the sea route and blue cave, the boats will set sail from the nearby port of Colonia de Sant Jordi and the route will take around 15 minutes.  While we furrow the waves at high speed, you can use the audio guide to get to know the most important information about the geology, history, flora and fauna of this beautiful archipelago comprised of the small islands: Na Foradada, Na Pobre, Na Plana, L’Esponja, Na Conillera and Na Redona. Admire the impressive cliffs of Cabrera as well as the strait o L’Imperial, the N’Enciola lighthouse, eagles’ nests on high, the bay of the port and the castle as you sail on by.  On our way back, we’ll stop in Sa Cova Blava, a surprising blue cave, where you can have a swim in the incredibly transparent water.

The Desembarco and blue cave option is for those who want to spend more time exploring the island and less time sailing.  After sailing through the small islands, we’ll get off at the natural port of Cabrera.  We’ll have time to explore the surroundings of the port, take a swim in the crystalline waters, visit the Castle and Museum, or have a cold drink in the famous port canteen.  You can go up to the medieval castle that dominates the port and the island, with spectacular panoramic views of the island and the sea.  Later we’ll visit Sa Cova Blava, with time for a refreshing swim.

More about the tour

Join me for an evening of foodie aventure, and I'll lead you to some of my favorite spots in town, where we will enjoy tasty local tapas with some of Mallorca's best regional wines. Between stops we'll explore the city's Old Town, the former Moorish walled city with its characteristic narrow streets and stooping architecture.
