Be delighted by this dolphin and whale watching in La Palma. You will set off from the sports pier of Puerto de Tazacorte aboard a wonderful boat with capacity for 100 people. The crew will give you a great welcome and explain every you want to know about these beautiful animals.

Ocean Explorer offers you this unique chance to enjoy a 3-hour tour aboard a fantastic boat from which you will be able to see a wide variety of whales (dolphins also). There are up to 29 different types of cetaceans that can be seen from the coast of La Palma.

 There two daily services from Monday to Friday: one at 11:30 and another one at 15:00. Besides those, on Saturday you can go out at 11:30 and on Sunday at 15:00. To those clients who request it, there is a pick-up service for the 11:30 service from Monday to Friday. You will be taken from the two main touristic locations in the island of La Palma: the hotels H10 Taburiente and Princess Teneguia.

 Tour starts at the sports pier of Puerto de Tazacorte. The boat will set off from there and go through the ocean so you can see the highest number of cetaceans possible. Besides, you will visit the famous Cueva Bonita of La Palma, a volcanic cave which the water from the ocean has created by eroding. Several times per week, as long as the weather allows it, there will be a break at an idyllic cove near Puerto de Tazacorte where you can take a bath.

 The boat you will travel on is called Flipper and has a capacity for 100 people. The crew will be most attentive with you and your partners. They will also explain you everything you wish to know about the marine surrounding and its inhabitants. This tour is perfect for groups, families or anybody who enjoys a little adventure on the sea.

 From Flipper, the crew will carry through their soft-watching program. Their goal is to make the encounter between humans and cetaceans the less disturbing possible so that  these precious animals are not bothered.

 You will set off from the sports pier of Puerto de Tazacorte. There are two daily departures, from Monday to Sunday, the first being at 11:00 and the second at 14:00. Besides, there is a pick-up service for those clients who request it, available from Monday to Friday in the morning. Ocean Explorer offers you the chance to go on a 4-hour tour along the coast of La Palma aboard the Bussard, one of the most beautiful boats in the island which is almost 18 meters long and 5 meters wide. It has a maximum capacity for 12 people.

 When you come on the boat, the captain will welcome you with a glass of cava while explaining what the excursion and the operation of the Bussard consists of. Once this brief first contact is finished, the boat will go into the sea so that you can enjoy a unique view of La Palma from afar.

 The route the Bussard follows goes from the sports pier of the Puerto de Tazacorte to the north of the island and then returns to the starting point. The boat will keep a soft speed so you can enjoy yourself at all times. You can lie down to sunbathe or even place yourself on the net of prow to experience the feeling of floating on the sea.

 After an hour of crossing, there will be a stop to enjoy a nice bath. La Palma is the perfect island for hikers. Enjoy a wonderful hiking route from the charming village of Tijarafe, in the northwest of the island of La Palma.

The adventure begins in the small village of Tijarafe, with its charming narrow streets, where you will find the church of "Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria", built in the seventeenth century. The meeting point of the route will be at the main bus stop (town center), around 10:00 in the morning. From there, you will walk along a forest track and arrive at a beautiful spot with abundant vegetation, through which there are a series of rustic paths that lead to viewpoints with magnificent views. An example of this is the viewpoint "El Time", one of the best viewpoints in the village, from where you can appreciate the views of the entire Valle de Aridane, the coast of Tazacorte, Puerto Naos and the locality of Fuencaliente.

The route continues with a visit to a traditional brewery in Tijarafe, where you will have the pleasure of tasting traditional beer and admire the ocean views from its terraces. The last segment of the route will be in the Port of Tazacorte, where you will make a boat trip to admire dolphins in their environment, from a great boat called "Bussard".

The total duration of the activity is approximately 6 hours, with an easy to moderate difficulty level and you can choose to go to the meeting point (at Tijarafe’s bus stop) or if you need it, there is a pick-up service at the bus station of the Port of Tazacorte at 09:35.
