Gone is the time when Santurtzi, as the most important port of Vizcaya in coastal fishing, was visited by the romantic figure of sardines.   Even today you can feel the delicious smell of the steaming grills that the sea wind pushes inland. An authentic temptation for the visitor who can taste their famous sardinitas or any fish of season roasted in a traditional way.
